Preparing Your
Quilt
So, you're ready to send your quilt.
Follow these steps in order to for your quilt to arrive safely and ready
to be worked on!
- Square your quilt and make sure that the
edges are straight and there are no selvage edges.
- Make sure that your batting (if you are
providing your own) and backing are at least 5" larger than your
quilt top on all sides.
- Do not baste or pin the quilt
top, batting and backing together.
- Press the quilt top and clip all the
threads and points.
- Use a safety pin or masking tape to
indicate the top of the quilt.
- Include 1 yard of fabric if you'd like
us to do your binding. All extra fabric will be returned to you.
- Print out a copy of the order form and
fill it in and send it with your quilt.
- You may either send a check with your
quilt or use Pay Pal (remit to djltdavis@hotmail.com)
to pay for your quilt before it is returned to you. There is a
$25.00 returned check fee.
- Address your package to Laura Davis, not
Caloosa Quilts, so as to avoid any identification of what's inside.
